Xreal: For all Tech-Enthusiasts here’s something with an Innovative edge!
Xreal has introduced the Beam Pro in China, a cutting-edge Android-powered device that revolutionizes the functionality of the company’s Air AR glasses.
Unlike its predecessor, the Beam Pro runs on “nebulaOS,” a variant of Android 14 meticulously optimized for augmented reality tasks. It boasts a 6.5-inch 90Hz LCD (1080 x 2400 pixels) for traditional app control and doubles as a motion-sensing air mouse, truly pushing the boundaries of innovation. The Beam Pro’s standout feature is its pair of exceptional 50MP ISOCELL JN1 cameras, strategically spaced 50mm apart to capture stunning 3D photos and videos. These cameras are synchronized at the pixel level, ensuring unparalleled high-quality stereoscopic video, with tailored electronic image stabilization for flawless 3D recording.Under the hood, the Beam Pro is powered by an advanced 4nm Snapdragon chipset, known for its high performance and energy efficiency. This powerful chipset ensures smooth operation and fast response times, even when running demanding AR applications.
The device also features a 4,300mAh battery for all-day use. It comes in two variants: a base model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (expandable to 1TB) and a higher-end model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Both models support Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 and include two USB-C ports—one for connecting to the AR glasses and another for charging the device up to 27W. The Xreal Beam Pro is set to go on sale in China on May 31, offering incredible value for money. The 6/128GB model is priced at a competitive CNY 1,300 ($180/€165/₹15,000) and the 8/256GB model at CNY 1,600. For those seeking the latest technology, a 5G variant is expected in August for CNY 2,000, along with an enterprise version priced at CNY 3,000.
