X Monthly Users Have ‘Reached a New High’: Elon Musk
Elon Musk has recently shared an interesting piece of statistics regarding X monthly users, which shows that the numbers have reached a new record this year. The chart shows the data starting from January 1 this year until July 28, and the number now stands at 541,562,214, which is a sharp upward trajectory from 531,202,332. Musk has also added that this massive rise in X monthly users has taken place right after the platform removed several bot accounts in the past few months.
The decision to rebrand Twitter to X came as an unexpected move for many after Elon Musk shared its official new logo on social media. He has been vocal about his plans to make X a comprehensive social media platform for users. He had recently announced that X, which was then called Twitter, has made it possible for subscribed users to stream two hours of video on the platform, and this compelled several business experts to predict that X may replace YouTube. Quite recently, their rivals Meta also launched their own version of Twitter called Threads, which also recorded a massive addition of users to date.
