Why Ajay-Atul were Scared by the Success of ‘Jai Shree Ram’
Ajay-Atul are among the most versatile music composers in India who recently were in the headlines for their most recent work for Adipurush, which has officially begun its box office run. Their song Jai Shree Ram has received tremendous applause from the audience, which has reportedly left them nervous. During their recent conversation with B4U Entertainment, Ajay said, “When Zingaat came, everyone was scared of that song except us. But then we were told to make a song that can beat Zingaat. But even we couldn’t do it. Zingaat was a scary song. And now, Jai Shri Ram is a scary song.”
He also talked about how the duo did not have any references for this composition. “Though some great songs have been made on Lord Ram when it comes to cinematic language, we are the first. So, we were not scared of any comparison and were happy to create our own canvas.” Ajay-Atul have made several other hit songs, including Zingaat, Deva Shree Ganesha, and many others. While Jai Shree Ram has received positive reviews, there has been a lot of controversy regarding the special effects used in Adipurush. The film stars Prabhas as Lord Rama and Kriti Sanon as Sita and has been directed by Om Raut.
