WhatsApp Introduces Skip Forward and Backward Feature for Videos
WhatsApp has rolled out its new ‘Skip Forward and Backward feature’, which will come in quite handy, especially for the users who frequently send and receive videos on the platform. This feature makes it possible for users to see the most important part of the video without having to search for it using the anchor bar. However, this ‘Skip Forward and Backward feature’ is currently only available in its most recent versions, and the users will thus have to download this version if they want to use it on their app.
WhatsApp officially announced this feature, saying, “With the new video skip feature, users can now easily navigate within videos they receive or send. This means you can now skip forward to get to the most crucial part of a video or rewind to rewatch something you might have missed without using the progress bar,” as per Wabetainfo. Quite recently, WhatsApp launched the ‘Edit’ option for its users, which allows them to edit their messages, but only for fifteen minutes after the message has been sent.
