What Time Will Chandrayaan-3 Landing Take Place Tomorrow?

The eyes of 1.4 billion Indians and the rest of the world will be on the Chandrayaan-3 landing tomorrow, which will take place on the southern pole of the moon. A successful landing of this satellite will make India the first nation on Earth to mark its presence at the moon’s south pole. Chandrayaan-3’s Vikram Lander, which is currently orbiting around the moon, is expected to make a landing around 6 pm. ISRO will begin the descent maneuver around 5:45 pm after finding the right landing spot.

Space agencies around the world have been closely monitoring ISRO’s mission, as the Chandrayaan-3 landing will open up a whole new dimension of possibilities not only in space research but also in the energy sector. It is believed that the region has mass reserves of ice water, which can be used for several human needs, including energy generation. ISRO had shared new images of the moon just a few days ago ahead of the Chandrayaan-3 landing. India had nearly achieved this feat back in 2019 but could not manage to make a smooth landing and establish a signal and communication with the headquarters. However, ISRO has shown absolute confidence in the ongoing mission, which will reach its conclusion tomorrow.
