Lifestyle changes that Virat Kohli made at 25
No compromises on fitness
The former Indian captain has stated that his lifestyle habits during his Under-19 World Cup days were something that he couldn’t even ‘imagine’ following at this stage of his life. In his own words, he committed himself to a ‘disciplined lifestyle’ in pursuit of fitness. This brought a visible change in his physique that ultimately elevated his game.
Limiting usage of phones and gadgets
Kohli has added that he kept himself from excessively using phones and other gadgets to avoid any distractions. He believes that discipline is, again the key to endless opinions and noise on social media. This is something that most of us struggle with, and Virat’s practice of keeping away from gadgets should be a takeaway lesson for us all.
Getting ample sleep
The cricketer also revealed that he listens to calming music to fall asleep early. He said that getting enough sleep every day ensures that he does not need a lot of recovery sessions during his matches and hectic travelling lifestyle, especially during T20 matches where cricketers barely get any time to rest. Virat Kohli has thus made simple lifestyle changes that he religiously followed all these years, which has made him the sports icon he is today.
