UFC Fighter Conor McGregor Arrested for Sexual Assault
Conor McGregor has been arrested for sexually assaulting a woman during the recently held NBA finals between Miami Heat and Denver Nuggets. This incident reportedly took place in the bathroom area in the stadium, which ultimately led to his arrest, according to AP. A legal representative of McGregor said that these allegations are ‘false’ and that they will not intimidate the athlete. This comes right after he punched the Miami Mascot during the game, who had to be hospitalised due to bruises. The pending trial on this matter is expected to take place soon.
Conor McGregor has a list of legal cases on him, which includes sexual assault and indecent exposure in 2020, as well as two different counts of assault in 2018 and 2019. The UFC fighter has been in the headlines on several occasions following his many controversies on and off the ring. However, no evidence has been produced yet that can prove him guilty of said allegations. McGregor holds an exceptional winning record in the sport and has amassed a fan following around the world during the course of his illustrious career.
