Tom Cruise sends out a special message for King Charles
King Charles’ coronation ceremony was conducted in absolute pomp as the new monarch took over the throne from his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II. A post-coronation concert was held at Windsor Castle, where artists from all over the world participated and celebrated the beginning of King Charles’ reign. During this concert, he received a special message from Hollywood icon Tom Cruise, who surprised one and all with his unexpected message.
During the ‘Did You Know’ segment of the concert, a pre-recorded message from Cruise where he asked the King to be his wingman. The monarch had become a trained RAF pilot at just 22 years old, along with being a trained naval aviator and a Commando helicopter pilot. Among the many famous movies Tom Cruise is known for is his classic action flick Top Gun, where the actor played the role of an American air force pilot. The film finally got a sequel last year titled Top Gun: Maverick, which also starred other well-known stars like John Hamm and Jennifer Conelly.
