Team India Looks at Another Test Series Win Against West Indies
Team India has been expectedly dominating their hosts in the ongoing tour of West Indies after having already won the first test by a huge margin. In the second test as well, the Indian bowlers have tormented the West Indies while the batsmen continue to outperform their counterparts. After Virat Kohli’s splendid 75th Century in the first innings and respectable knocks from skipper Rohit Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ravindra Jadeja, as well as Ravichandran Ashwin, team India will likely clinch the test series after getting West Indies out for just 255 against their 438.
India declared early in their second innings after praiseworthy performances by wicket-keeper Ishan Kishan and captain Rohit Sharma once again. With a huge target to chase, West Indies have already lost two wickets in skipper Kraig Braithwaite and Kirk McKenzie in their second innings after having scored 76 runs. Ashwin has continued his onslaught by taking both these wickets and is expected to lead the charge of the Indian bowlers on the final day as well. West Indies now need 289 more runs to win.
After the conclusion of these two tests, team India will face the hosts in three ODIs and five T20 internationals.
