Sunny Deol to team-up with Gopichand Malineni for a Telugu Project

Sunny Deol is set to star in a new movie tentatively titled ‘SGDM,’ directed by Telugu filmmaker Gopichand Malineni

Known for his powerful comeback with “Gadar 2. Sunny Deol announced this big-budget action entertainer, which will begin shooting on June 22. In his announcement, Deol emphasized the film’s scale, writing: “Make way for the biggest action film of the country – #SDGM.” Saiyami Kher and Regina Cassandra are reported to have joined the cast.

The film is jointly produced by Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory, with music by S Thaman. In 2023, Sunny Deol’s “Gadar 2” became one of India’s highest-grossing films, earning over Rs 690 crore worldwide. Deol also works on “Lahore 1947” with Preity Zinta, marking her return to the screen. “Border 2” has also been announced, slated for a 2026 release. Gopichand Malineni, the director of “SGDM,” is known for movies like “Bodyguard,” “Krack,” and “Veera Simha Reddy.”
