State Elections 2023: Who Has the Upper Hand?
The State Elections 2023 are on the verge of their conclusions as Bharat’s five states recently voted for their next respective state governments. Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Mizoram, and Telangana have all gone through multiple voting phases recently, and several exit polls have been released that showcase the political sentiments in these states. Most of these exit polls have indicated that the BJP is likely to win Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, whereas Congress appears to have the upper hand in Chhattisgarh, and CM Bhupesh Baghel is likely to return as the state CM.
A similar situation may be taking place in Mizoram, as CM Zoramthanga’s Mizo National Front party is leading in the polls race, followed by Congress in the second position, whereas the BJP is in the third spot. Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently called upon Telangana to vote in record numbers after a long and hectic rally schedule in the state. Telangana will primarily witness a contest between Congress and CM KCR’s BRS party. The final verdict of State Elections 2023 will be announced on December 3.
