‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ scene that took 4 years to be made
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse has been welcomed by the audience, as visible in its stellar box office performance in less than a week. The makers have upheld the animation standards set by their first film in this sequel as well, as they took four years to create just one scene. In his conversation with Collider, the film’s co-directed Joaquim Dos revealed that the scene where Miles Morales is being chased by hundreds of Spider-People from across the Spider-Verses took four years and 792 human hours to be made.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is the sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which had depicted how Miles Morales discovered his potential after he discovered the Spider-Verse. However, this sequel shows him facing whole new challenges where he has to take on Spider-People from other universes. This film has become a huge global hit, having minted $236 million across the world in the first week itself with a budget of just $100 million. It is expected to cross well over $300 million after the end of its commercial run in the theatres.
