Shedding Weight During Office Hours

We are always looking for new ways of shedding weight as our lifestyle continues to get busier by the day. But since we spend most of our time at work, it becomes virtually impossible to follow extensive diet and workout routines that are likely to consume a lot of time. Moreover, sitting at your desk for long hours further makes your lifestyle sedentary and damages your health. But there are several basic habits that you can follow to lose weight even while you’re at the office without disrupting your work life.


It is rightfully said that diet is the base of shedding weight. Many health experts today promote a balanced diet wherein you have smaller portions of healthy meals every two hours rather than having large quantity meals three times a day. This diet can yield even better results when it’s filled with high-protein and fibre food with smaller portions of carbohydrates. Offices generally give a lunch break of about 45 minutes – 1 hour. If you can manage to slip in a 15–20-minute walk during this break, it will boost your digestion by burning more calories and consequently help in shedding weight.
