Russian military shares visuals of captured German tanks
It has been no secret that the US and its NATO allies have been countering the Russian military by actively providing arms and ammunition on the battlefield. Almost a year and a half into its conflict with Ukraine, Russia’s Defence Ministry has released footage of German tanks and American war vehicles captured by the Russian military. Sharing these visuals on Telegram, Russia’s MoD called these captured tanks and war vehicles their ‘trophies.’ The released footage shows two Leopard tanks by Germany and two damaged Bradley Fighting Vehicles by the United States.
Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andriy Melnyk has requested more armoured vehicles and tanks to face the Russian military, which has been increasing the heat on the battlefield. Melnyk said, “The Ukrainian army desperately needs many more Western battle tanks, infantry fighting vehicles and other armoured vehicles.” The ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict has brought the Western world to the edge of recession. Germany has officially slipped into recession, and it appears that other major economies like US and UK are also on the verge of recession. There is no visible end to this conflict any time soon, which experts believe has only further increased the chances of a recession in the West.
