Russian Envoy: US Disposing Old Weapons by Arming Ukraine

The Russian Envoy to the United States, Anatoly Antonov, has been actively engaging the Western nations diplomatically ever since the onset of the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict. In a recent Telegram post, he criticised the West led by America and their intentions on Ukraine, saying, “Washington wants to use the republic to dispose of its old weapons, turning the once rich and fertile part of the USSR into a ‘burial ground’ where it will be simply impossible to live. Unexploded US submunitions will remain in this territory, as well as piles of scorched metal of the German-made Leopards and other Western materiel.”

The Russian Envoy further added, “Declaring the lofty slogans about strengthening the combat capability of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the US is plunging lower and lower in terms of observing elementary moral principles, cynically dumping the lethal waste on Ukraine. Such a position perfectly demonstrates the true attitude of the United States towards Ukraine.” The United States and its NATO allies have supplied military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine to counter Russia, which continues its operations despite the recently attempted military coup, which was eventually thwarted.
