Russia promises fierce response to Ukranian drone attack
A major drone attack took place in Moscow, Russia a few days ago which was widely criticised by the Russian diplomats and their polity. As per a TASS News report, Russia’s Foreign Minister Dmitry Medvedev has called Ukraine’s attack an act of terrorism, citing that those attacks were aimed at the civilian population, not just their military cadre. He said, “This is an act of terrorism, and there is no other way to qualify it. If it is an act of terrorism, there is only one way to respond to it. No country can afford to negotiate with terrorists, terrorists must be destroyed.”
Russia had launched its massive military operation against Ukraine last year in February after the NATO countries proposed making Ukraine a member of the bloc against Russia’s warnings. Their violent conflict has been going on ever since and the Western nations have proactively sided with Ukraine by providing them military, financial and humanitarian aid. While India has remained neutral on that matter, it has lobbied for a resolution of this conflict with a diplomatic dialogue between the two nations.
