Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite: A New Standard for Mobile Chipsets breaking records on AnTuTu Benchmarks
Qualcomm’s latest chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Elite, has made headlines with its record-breaking performance on the AnTuTu benchmark
A leaked score from a prototype Realme GT7 Pro shows an unprecedented result of 3,025,991, far surpassing Apple’s A18 Pro, which scored about 1.65 million points, and MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400, which reached around 2.8 million points. The Snapdragon 8 Elite, previously referred to as Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, is set to be announced officially by Qualcomm on Monday. The chipset is expected to come in two variants: a base model with two cores clocked at up to 4.09 GHz and six cores at 2.78 GHz, and a premium model featuring two cores reaching up to 4.32 GHz.
Both iterations will feature the Adreno 830 GPU and are built using TSMC’s 3nm process, which promises increased efficiency and performance. The Snapdragon 8 Elite has already impressed in Geek bench results, showing a substantial generational leap over its predecessor. With its combination of raw power, cutting-edge GPU, and efficient 3nm architecture, the Snapdragon 8 Elite is poised to be a dominant force in the smartphone chipset market, outperforming both Apple’s and MediaTek’s top offerings.
