Priyanka Chopra lost many films for refusing to do certain scenes, Madhu Chopra reveals

Priyanka Chopra is among the rare few Indian celebrities who have made a mark in Hollywood, and has been widely praised for her roles. She has been candid about how her Hollywood journey has impacted her career in Bollywood, and often cited how her mother Madhu Chopra has been a constant support in her life. In her recent interview with Josh Talks Asha, Madhu revealed that her daughter has also lost several roles for refusing to do certain scenes on screen.  

Being from a legal and finance background herself, Madhu talked about how she used to oversee Priyanka’s legal matters during the early years of her career, and that the actress stood firm on her decision to not do anything she was not comfortable with. Madhu then went on to reveal, “She lost so many films because she refused to do some scenes which she thought are not worth it.” She further added that Priyanka always had the option to pick another career if this one didn’t work out. 

Priyanka Chopra was last seen in the fourth instalment of ‘Matrix’ film series titled ‘The Matrix Resurrections’ which was released in 2021; and will be next seen on screen in Hollywood comedy drama ‘Love Again’.
