Pm Modi’s Visits lined up with Telangana & Odisha; multiple projects and advancements in the bucket!
Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Telangana and Odisha, where he will unveil a series of development projects totalling over ₹26,000 crores. Earlier, he kicked off the day by inaugurating projects worth more than ₹7,000 crore across various sectors like roadways, railways, petroleum, and natural gas in Telangana’s Sangareddy, followed by a public address. Additionally, he paid respects at the Sri Ujjaini Mahakali Temple in the morning.
In Hyderabad, PM Modi inaugurated the Civil Aviation Research Organisation (CARO) centre, constructed at a cost exceeding ₹350 crore. He also marked the commencement of three National Highway projects also launched the inaugural MMTS (Multi-Modal Transport Service) Train Service from Ghatkesar-Lingampalli. Moreover, he inaugurated the IndianOil Paradip-Hyderabad Product Pipeline. Moving to Odisha, the PM is slated to inaugurate Indian Oil Corporation’s mono ethylene glycol project at Paradip Refinery and lay foundation stones for various projects related to oil and gas, railways, roadways, transport, highways, and atomic energy sectors.
This visit coincides with the birth anniversary of former chief minister Biju Patnaik, adding significance. It also comes amidst heightened calls from the BJD to confer Bharat Ratna upon Biju Patnaik, with many speculating that such an honour could foster closer ties between Modi and Naveen, paving the way for a potential electoral alliance before the upcoming polls. Modi’s extensive tour, spanning 12 states and union territories, aims to attend 29 inauguration and foundation stone-laying ceremonies over 10 days. His proactive stance underscores the government’s commitment to national development and welfare initiatives ahead of the imminent general elections scheduled for April-May.
