PBKS vs DC: Will Punjab Kings save their chances to reach playoffs tonight against Delhi Capitals?  

Tonight’s PBKS vs DC contest packs a promising dose of entertainment as the two sides clash in the beautiful stadium of Dharamsala. But this match is more important for Punjab Kings, as they still have a chance of reaching playoffs by winning basically every match from here on. They have six wins and losses each – which means that the odds can turn in their favour if they build a winning streak starting today.  

However, Delhi Capitals won’t make it that easy for them. The fact that they are right at the bottom of the points table and virtually out of the race will take off all pressure on them. They have their own star players, such as captain David Warner, Mitchell Marsh, Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav, who are capable of taking their team across the finish line on any given day. Most teams who underperform in the tournament’s first half tend to pick up their pace in the later stages, and so will Delhi. Having said that, Punjab Kings still have the upper hand tonight at their home ground.
