Pakistani Drone Carrying Drugs Worth Rs 50 Crores Caught

Another Pakistani drone has been caught by the security forces, this time in Rajasthan. The Border Security Force (BSF) has snubbed a major narco-smuggling attempt by India’s western neighbour as they recovered 10 kilos of drugs, which is suspected to be heroin, as per Republic. The international market value of these drugs is said to be over Rs. 50 crores. Sources in the force told the news channel, “The international market worth of this consignment is more than 50 crore rupees and it is aimed to destabilise the region and push youth into drugs.”

However, this is not the first time a Pakistani drone carrying drugs has been found on India’s borders. Pakistan has been infiltrating drugs and weapons in J&K and Punjab to disrupt the law-and-order situation in the region. The drone activity has rapidly increased in the last few months from the Pakistani end to increase the spread of drugs and weapons in India. India is consequently preparing its own line of drone systems to counter such drug peddling activities and monitor the Pakistani and Chinese borders.
