‘Oppenheimer’ Gets 3 A.M. Shows Across India

Cinema lovers around the world are eagerly waiting for Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, which is slated to release on July 21. Its ticket bookings have officially begun and have already taken off as per expectations. However, there is a whole different level of excitement in India for this film as 3 a.m. shows are being sold in theatres around the country. In tier-one cities like Mumbai, theatres have kept slots open for 3:30 a.m. and 4 a.m. as well. These stats are enough to hint that the film is likely to break several box office records in India and around the globe.
Oppenheimer trails around the story of J. Robert Oppenheimer, the American scientist who was behind the creation of nuclear bombs. His role is played by versatile British actor Cillian Murphy, who is best known for his role in the British web series Peaky Blinders. He has also starred in several Nolan movies, including the Dark Knight trilogy and Dunkirk.
