When she raised a complaint with Zomato’s customer service, their response caught her off guard. The agent suggested she try the dish anyway, claiming, “We are sure you will love it.” Amused and bewildered, Ananya posted a screenshot of the conversation on X (formerly Twitter) with the caption, “average delivery experience.” Zomato’s unexpected suggestion to “please have it” quickly gained attention, with the post garnering over 6 lakh views, 16,000 likes, and hundreds of comments. Zomato, realizing the viral nature of the post, responded publicly, apologizing for the mishap and requesting Ananya to send her order ID or phone number to resolve the issue.
