OLA CEO Bhavish Aggarwal announced that the delivery of Roadster Pro will begin in Diwali next year. Roadster X and Roadster will be available starting January 2025. The company offers four e-scooter models, quickly rising to dominate the e-two-wheeler space. Ola Electric aims to provide affordable, efficient, and accessible ride experiences across India, focusing on energy sustainability.
The Roadster X series offers a more budget-friendly range, starting at ₹74,000.
Bhavish Aggarwal stated that Ola Electric has become the leading EV company in India and the largest two-wheeler EV manufacturer in the world, ranking fifth globally in market capitalization. Aggarwal also announced the development of the next-generation battery technology, ‘BharatCell,’ which will be integrated into their scooters by Q1 FY26. Ola Electric has filed over 70 patents for this technology. The company has been working on the bike launch and dropping hints across social media platforms. Despite the e-motorcycle segment presenting a more formidable challenge, Ola Electric aims to disrupt the market with its new offering.
