Modi asserted that despite spreading lies, the Opposition faced a significant defeat in the Lok Sabha polls. He highlighted the government’s achievements and policies over the past decade, emphasizing their focus on “India first” and their zero-tolerance stance on corruption. Modi contrasted the current situation with the pre-2014 era, noting how India now retaliates strongly against terrorist attacks, marking a shift in the country’s defense posture. Modi also criticized Congress, calling it a “parasitic party” reliant on allies for its limited successes and accused it of spreading anarchy and divisiveness. He referenced Congress’s history, including the Emergency and alleged injustices against Dalits, using these points to underline Congress’s failures and arrogance. Modi condemned the “childish behavior” witnessed in the Lok Sabha, an apparent jab at Rahul Gandhi, and stressed the importance of taking such actions seriously to protect parliamentary democracy.
