Modi Aims at a Gigantic Win!

Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to achieve significant success in West Bengal, with Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress (TMC) fighting for survival. Modi claimed that despite alleged efforts by the TMC to suppress BJP workers, the BJP is gaining momentum and support in the state. He highlighted the BJP’s increasing seat tally in both the 2019 general elections and the 2021 Bengal assembly polls, signaling the party’s growing influence in the region. In the interview, Modi also expressed confidence in the BJP forming a government in Odisha and stated his willingness to prioritize the state’s future over maintaining personal relations with Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

He emphasized that in a democracy, there is no enmity among political parties and reiterated his commitment to Odisha’s progress. Setting an ambitious target of 400 seats for the BJP and its allies, Modi acknowledged the need for landslide victories in states like Bengal and southern India to achieve this goal. The BJP, which secured 303 seats in the 2019 general elections, aims to expand its political footprint further in the upcoming elections.
