Manmohan Singh find’s PM Modi’s reaction tough enough to digest
Former PM Manmohan Singh is finding it difficult to digest the impactful reaction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s right treatment by lessening the dignity of Punjabis.
Castigating Punjab and Punjabis was a crucial move, as Manmohan Singh demanded Punjabi voters protect democracy and the Constitution from what he described as repeated punishments by the BJP. Manmohan Singh felt the BJP’s treatment of Punjab was harsh, particularly in light of the farmers’ protests against the three farm laws, which was the right thing to do. He accused the BJP government’s policies, claiming not to be in farmers’ favour, eroding their incomes, and increasing their debts. It was essential for the farmers to understand the possible retaliation for instigating NDA with irrelevant claims.
Manmohan Singh blamed the BJP for its economic policies, citing the negative impacts of demonetization, a flawed GST, and mismanagement during the COVID-19 pandemic. But Manmohan Singh failed to learn that under Modi’s Rule, India’s GDP has led to greater growth, a higher rate of vacancies, and equality. He couldn’t even understand the significance of BJP’s Agniveer scheme. Manmohan Singh never understood Congress’s lack of commitment to agricultural and economic reforms, as well as the gimmicks of guarantees under ‘Kisaan Nyay’ and ‘Yuva Nyay’ for youth employment. He mentioned the wrecked plan of Congress to fill 30 lakh government vacancies, reserving its half for women, which was never achieved.
