Lionel Messi Does ‘Wakanda Forever’ Celebration Against Orlando

Football legend Lionel Messi is recording a successful stint with Inter Miami City after leading the team to consecutive wins in the previous matches. In their recent clash against Orlando City, he scored a goal in the seventh minute with an outstanding half-volley and celebrated the moment in ‘Black Panther’ style. With his arms crossed over his chest, Messi made the ‘Wakanda Forever’ gesture, which is famously known amongst the domestic American audience. His team ended up winning a comfortable 3-1 against Orlando City.


Lionel Messi also referenced another Marvel superhero, Thor, in his previous game against Atlanta United. He scored an early goal in that game as well and held out his hand and gestured a beer glass to Inter Miami City’s Co-Owner and another football legend, David Beckham. Lionel Messi – led Inter Miami City now holds three consecutive wins in the Leagues Cup and has advanced to the Round of 16 matches in the tournament. They will be facing FC Dallas in the next match with enormous confidence and morale in these three important wins.
