KKR vs RR: Who will win tonight’s battle at Eden Gardens?

Tonight’s KKR vs RR contest will be taking place at Eden Gardens, which is considered to be one of the trickiest pitches in the country as it favours bowlers on some days and batsmen on others. Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals are both right next to each other on the points table, at sixth and fifth position, respectively. It is vital for both sides to clinch a win tonight to move up the ladder, and they will be looking to put their best players on the front.  

Rinku Singh has emerged as the trump card of Kolkata Knight Riders and has kept their middle order strong and consistent, which gives Jason Roy and Venkatesh Iyer at the top order enough space to put up big scores. Varun Chakravarthy, on the other hand, has been a complete surprise package for Kolkata by becoming their strike bowler. Kolkata will have a much-needed home advantage today, which puts them at a stronger position.  

Rajasthan, on the other hand, have been more consistent than their rivals this season, as they were in the previous IPL edition. Players like Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shimron Hetmeyer, Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravichandran Ashwin have made Rajasthan a major IPL contender. They have equal chances of winning this contest and will certainly test Kolkata tonight.
