Kevin Spacey: People ready to hire me if charges are dropped
The multiple cases of sexual harassment against Kevin Spacey are about to move to trial in London at the end of this month. Ahead of this trial, the actor has made a major statement to The Hollywood Reporter stating that he has multiple work offers ready if he gets acquitted. He said, “I know that there are people right now who are ready to hire me the moment I am cleared of these charges in London. The second that happens, they’re ready to move forward.” He also told Variety, “The media have done their best to turn me into a monster, but from the people, I have seen nothing but affection.”
Kevin Spacey was accused of sexually harassing and assaulting three men on four counts at the onset of the ‘Me Too’ movement. After these allegations were made, the actor was dropped from his popular show House of Cards, but he has repeatedly maintained that he has not retired from his career. Kevin Spacey has extensively worked in theatre and television before eventually getting into films. His trial will begin in London on June 28.
