Jr. NTR to join Hrithik Roshan – starrer ‘War 2’?

Hrithik Roshan is currently preparing for War 2, which will be the sequel to the actor’s 2019 hit. The film is reportedly making a promising new addition to its star cast, as RRR star Jr. NTR is in talks with film director Ayan Mukherjee for a major role, according to PinkVilla. Although the exact nature of Jr. NTR’s role remains unclear, his character is said to have some negative layers which will add sparks to the script. The actor has positively responded to this offer and will also do multiple reading sessions with Hrithik Roshan to prepare for this role.  

However, there has been no direct confirmation of this news from the two stars and the director. The previous edition of this franchise, which starred Tiger Shroff alongside Hrithik Roshan, was received extremely well by the audience and went on to become one of the highest grossers of 2019. Yash Raj Films visibly has big plans for this franchise as they have replaced Siddharth Anand as the director and added the versatile Ayan Mukherjee to steer the film along with replacing Shroff with Jr. NTR.
