Jacqueline Fernandez Allowed to Travel Abroad on This Condition
Jacqueline Fernandez found herself in the midst of media turmoil after she was summoned by the Enforcement Directorate. She was extensively interrogated by the agency regarding her involvement with conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar which was followed by a major backlash from netizens. While her fans continue to support her, agency officials have banned her from leaving the country. However, the actress has found her silver lining as the courts have allowed her to travel abroad, granted that she notifies the judiciary and the ED at least three days in advance before leaving, as per IANS.
Jacqueline Fernandez had reportedly followed all bail guidelines, which were observed by Judge Shailendra Malik, and agreed to let her travel abroad pertaining to professional commitments. The court also recognised that she had paid all her income taxes on time, despite being a Sri Lankan citizen, which further helped her case. However, she remains one of the prime names involved with Sukesh Chandrashekhar, who was arrested for money laundering and extortion. Jacqueline Fernandez had received several expensive gifts from Chandrashekhar, which were then confiscated by ED. Along with Fernandez, Nora Fatehi was also involved with the conman and was eventually questioned by the agency.
