Israel – Hamas War: Bharat Takes a Firm Stance Against Terrorism
The Israel – Hamas war has been raging ever since the deadly terror attack carried out by Hamas that left 1400 Israeli citizens dead, with many of them raped and tortured. While many countries from the Arab world have criticized the Jewish state for consequently responding with a brutal counterattack in Gaza, Bharat has stood firm in Israel’s support in the war against terrorism. Bharat’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Ruchira Kamboj, took a tough stance against Hamas terrorists while also showing solidarity with the Palestinian people affected in Gaza.
She highlighted the nation’s unequivocal support in the war against terror, saying that Bharat has ‘zero tolerance’ towards all forms of terrorism. In addition to this, she also drew attention to the hostages that Hamas has captured in Gaza and stated that such acts must be contained. Parallelly, Bharat also called for caution to be maintained by all sides in this Israel – Hamas war to minimize the collateral damage so that the non-combatants, especially the women and children, remain safe throughout this conflict. In the end, Kamboj asked for the resolution of this conflict through diplomacy and dialogue between nations.
