Israel Defence Forces Resumes War Against Hamas

The Israel Defence Forces have deployed all their might in the war against Hamas in the Gaza region to avenge the attacks on October 7 that claimed over 1400 Israeli lives. After calls for a ceasefire to supply humanitarian in the region became louder across the world, the Jewish state agreed to a temporary truce. In return of agreeing to maintain the truce, Israel has negotiated for the release of 100 hostages, whereas 240 Palestinians were freed from the Israeli prison, all of those being women and children.

Hamas will likely set a higher price for the release of more hostages who are still being held captive in the Hamas camp. The number of remaining hostages is estimated to be around 140, as per the Associated Press. However, the Israel Defence Forces have launched their ground operations once again as of 7 am GMT on Friday. While Egypt and Qatar, who are acting as the mediators in this conflict, had rallied for two more days of this truce, the Israel Defence Forces have been ordered to launch a counterassault against all Hamas terrorists who are currently hiding in the northern Gaza region.
