Is David Warner Returning to Sunrisers Hyderabad?
David Warner holds a spectacular record in the Indian Premier League, having scored a massive 6318 runs in 174 matches so far. He currently plays for Delhi Capitals but had earlier played for Sunrisers Hyderabad for several seasons. He eventually went on to lead the side to an IPL victory, bringing them their maiden championship. But he eventually left Sunrisers Hyderabad following issues with the team management and has since been playing for Delhi Capitals. However, his recent Instagram post has built speculations around his return to the Sunrisers.
He shared a picture of the Charminar monument and wrote in the caption, “I have been asked by a fan to post a pic of the last place I visited when I was in Hyderabad besides the golf course😂😂?? Well this is not my picture but I did visit this place!! Can you name it??” The post left Hyderabad fans excited, and they asked David Warner to come back to their team, calling Sunrisers Hyderabad his ‘real’ home. However, no statement has been made from David Warner or from the team management that can confirm his return to the side.
