HMD Global is set to launch its new Crest series in India on July 25, introducing what it calls “a new era of portraits.” The series promises high-quality portrait photography, a “crafted to perfection” design featuring a glass back finish, stunning visuals, and unmatched clarity in every shot. The smartphones will also be engineered for easy self-repair and offer stable performance. Notably, these devices will be made in India. Amazon’s teaser microsite has revealed that the series will include the Crest and Crest Max 5G models.
The Crest Max 5G is rumored to feature the Unisoc T760 SoC. The series, originally expected to be named HMD Arrow, has undergone a name change to Crest for currently unclear reasons. Bollywood actress Sanya Malhotra has been announced as the brand ambassador for the HMD Crest lineup. The launch is highly anticipated, with a special reveal event just around the corner.
