Hema Malini Would Like to Return to Films, But on This Condition

Hema Malini is among the most versatile actors of the Indian film industry but rarely appears on the big screen. Since she has no upcoming film projects right now, fans have been wondering when they will get to see her back in action. Bollywood’s ‘Dream Girl’ has recently expressed her own desire to return to films but with certain conditions. “Somebody should come and sign me up with a good role. It should be appropriate for my age. It can be glamorous but appropriate for my age,” she said.

However, Hema Malini also stated that she is not open to negative roles. Her husband and Bollywood veteran Dharmendra recently starred in Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. When asked whether she would work with Dharmendra on screen, Hema Malini said, “I do not know if you will see me and Dharam ji in a movie together, but maybe, who knows?” The actress has starred in several hit films throughout her career. On the political front, she continues to serve as the Member of Parliament representing the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
