‘Guardians of Galaxy’ director James Gunn expresses his desire to work with Jr NTR
The influence of the Indian film industry has rapidly spread over the years, and RRR’s big wins at the Oscars are its latest example. The movie has been widely praised in western cinema, and so have its lead stars Jr NTR and Ram Charan. James Gunn, who has helmed the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ franchise for Marvel Studios, has recently expressed his desire to work with Jr NTR someday.
During his interaction with News 18, Gunn said that he would prefer to work with Jr NTR should an Indian actor be cast to play a role in the future ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ films. He emphasized how he enjoyed watching Jr NTR in RRR and said that he was ‘amazing’ in the movie. Gunn further added that he is strongly influenced by Bollywood, which is visible in the musical element in GOTG movies. The director is currently promoting the third movie of this franchise, which is slated to release next month. Parallelly, he is also working on the next Superman film for DC Comics, which is scheduled to release in 2025.
