In the aftermath of the BJP’s victory in the Haryana elections, the question arises: who is the true hero behind this success? Is it the towering leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the strategic acumen of BJP President JP Nadda, or the efforts of local leaders like Chief Minister Nayab Saini?

In the aftermath of the BJP’s victory in the Haryana elections, the question arises: who is the true hero behind this success? Is it the towering leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the strategic acumen of BJP President JP Nadda, or the efforts of local leaders like Chief Minister Nayab Saini? While individual leadership is crucial, the answer may lie elsewhere. The unsung heroes of the campaign, the party workers(grassroots workers), were the true driving force behind the victory. Their tireless efforts, along with the systematic groundwork, played a pivotal role. None of these elections were led by a single leader or issue but by a cohesive, well-oiled machine functioning at the micro level. BJP’s decision to raise the income cap to determine the creamy layer of OBCs from Rs 6 lakh to Rs 8 lakh helped sway a significant portion of voters, particularly in rural constituencies.  Yet, beyond promises and policies, it was the meticulous groundwork that made the difference. Factors like ticket distribution, booth management, and door-to-door campaigning were critical to the party’s success.

The party workers worked tirelessly to bring these strands together, ensuring that no detail was overlooked and no voter forgotten. Election victories, like the one in Haryana, are rarely attributable to a single person. They are the result of many moving parts working in harmony. Political campaigns, much like complex systems, require not just star leadership but robust organization. The intricacies of booth management, rebel candidate strategies, and voter outreach often play as much of a role as grand speeches and national issues. In this sense, the real victory may belong not to Modi, Nadda, or any individual leader but to the system itself, a well-coordinated machinery driven by dedicated Party workers. Victory, in this context, becomes less about a single figure and more about a collective effort that pushes the campaign past the finish line, a team effort that each of us is a part of.
