Film celebrities mourn Odisha tragedy victims
As the nation woke up to the shocking news of the major train accident that took place in Odisha, film celebrities around the country sent messages of solidarity for the victims. Akshay Kumar sent a heartfelt message on his Instagram story where he called this accident “heartbreaking” and sent his condolences to the bereaved families while also wishing a speedy recovery to the injured victims. RRR star Jr NTR also expressed his grief over the incidents, saying that his thoughts are with the families of the victims of this crash.
Prominent filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri is also among the influential film celebrities who have mourned the accident. He called it “tragic and shameful” and demanded accountability for this crash. Among the others who also sent their condolences include Anupam Kher, Parineeti Chopra, Kareena Kapoor, and Varun Dhawan. The death toll of this accident has risen to 261 as per ANI, and Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has already launched a high-level investigation for this collision, which involved three trains. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has himself taken to visit Odisha, where he will likely meet the injured victims who are currently being treated. More updates continue to arrive from the crash site.
