Fans Slam ‘Adipurush’ Dialogues; Writer Manoj Defends His Work
Adipurush has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons, as fans have come out in fierce criticism against many aspects of the film but with a specific focus on its dialogues. People have expressed their disapproval of the dialogues of Lord Rama and Hanuman, saying that their lines are unworthy of their stature. Writer Manoj Muntashir has nevertheless defended his dialogues in his interview with Republic TV, saying that he has carefully crafted them after a long thought process.
Manoj said, “It is not an error. A very meticulous thought process that has gone into writing the dialogues for Bajrangbali. We have made it simple because we have to understand one thing; if there are multiple characters in a film, all of them can’t speak the language. There has to be a kind of diversion, a division.” The dialogues of Adipurush are not the only point of criticism among fans; most have them have slammed the special effects used in the film and the visual look that director Om Raut has given to the characters. Adipurush has received a below-par rating on major social platforms like IMDB, where it has been given just 2.9 rating.
