Elon Musk to begin a new Artificial Intelligence startup
Elon Musk has undisputedly become one of the most influential personalities in the world. He is publicly vocal about his opinions and decisions, which are carefully monitored by investors, entrepreneurs, and professionals across various fields. The billionaire is now aiming at building his own AI startup that will rival OpenAI, as per a report from Financial Times. Musk has not only begun recruiting people for the same but is also inviting investors from Tesla and SpaceX to take part in this venture.
Elon has arranged for thousands of graphic processor units that will help create top-tier AI graphics for this project, Business Insider stated. This comes as an unexpected move as Musk had recently supported industry executives who demanded a temporary break in creating AI systems more advanced than OpenAI’s ChatGPT-4 in light of the risks that it may create for society. The Tesla founder has consistently been all over the news ever since his Twitter takeover and his strong views towards social media platforms. He has made no public announcement yet on this new development, but further details of this new project are likely to arrive soon.
