Elon Musk Begins Twitter Rebranding in a Major Move
Elon Musk’s decision to Twitter rebranding has sparked a major debate in the tech world as the social platform commences a new phase of growth. While this announcement has left many confused as to why this rebranding was necessary in the first place, Musk has remained quite vocal about his ambitious plans to turn Twitter into a comprehensive social media conglomerate, thereby bringing competition to all major giants like Youtube, Meta and others. This decision is deemed risky to some, while others believe that it can be a game-changer in the tech world.
Twitter rebranding was announced just weeks after Meta rolled out Threads, which is the parent company’s response to Twitter. Musk had sent a legal notice to Meta stating that they had used Twitter’s trade secrets in this app, obtained by former employees of the social media platform. While this legal conflict continues in the United States judiciary, Elon Musk has not let this matter become an obstacle to his higher goal of Twitter rebranding. The social platform recently enabled subscribers to stream videos of up to two hours.
