DRDO Successfully Tests Akash N-G Missile in Odisha  

Bharat has made a major stride in defence today by successfully testing the Akash NG missile with advanced capabilities. There are several aspects of this missile that have added wings to Bharat’s defence capability and made it a swiftly emerging name in this market. All the components of the Akash N-G missile have been created and assembled in the country, thereby cutting down on imports. Another distinct feature of this system is that it is capable of precision strikes at low altitudes and can simultaneously hit multiple targets at a time.

Another positive aspect of this missile system is that it has not only been successfully tested but has also received Complete System Validation, which makes it ready for deployment as well. This will be a big message for interested buyers like Argentina and the Philippines, who have been rapidly developing defense ties with Bharat. Bharat has thus taken an important step forward in becoming self-reliant in defence with the Akash N-G missile system.
