CSK vs GT: Who will become the first IPL 2023 finalist tonight?

After a long wait, IPL 2023 has finally reached its first qualifier match in tonight’s CSK vs GT contest, where one of these two giants will advance into the finals. Both sides have been exceptional this season, especially Gujarat Titans, who continued their ruthless winning ways and knocked RCB out of the tournament in their last game. Their playing XI is packed with stars who have mastered thinking and performing as a group with a vision to defend their title in the coming games.  

However, CSK vs GT is being played at Chennai Super King’s home turf, where skipper MS Dhoni will command ferocious crowd support, especially since it could be ‘Captain Cool’s’ last season or perhaps even the last game in IPL ever. He did a round of honour in his previous game in Chepauk, which has further increased suspicions over his possible retirement. This will further electrify the Chennai crowd, who will be one-sidedly rooting for him. Chennai Super Kings have got back their winning consistency in the last few games, with their star players like Devon Conway, Shivam Dube, and Tushar Deshpande being in impeccable form this season. It will be a monumental task to beat them in Chennai with their current form, and it is thus anybody’s guess who will win today.
