Creators Award or Pretenders Forum: PM Narendra Modi congratulating the Bunch

On the 8th of March 2024, at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi presented the inaugural National Creators Award and engaged in a brief interaction with the recipients. The award aims to serve as a platform for leveraging creativity to instigate positive transformations.

In the ‘New India Champion’ category, the award was bestowed upon multiple creators. During their interaction with the Prime Minister, they discussed the challenge of maintaining audience engagement while presenting factual content. They emphasized the significance of infusing energy into presentations, akin to the Prime Minister’s dynamic approach, to captivate the audience. The Prime Minister commended their efforts in tackling a demanding yet vital field.

Addressing and acknowledging the contribution of individuals towards society is one part while knowing their effects on the masses is crucial. There may be numerous individuals posting content over the internet posing as a helping hand towards society, but little do we know the composure of the intent and content. The majority of content creators step into the regime of content creation with the intent of establishing a paid viewership while choosing a thoughtful topic and cause stays second.

Keeping the charity work aside, creators look for such topics that would yield maximum scalability along with the algorithms involved. Hence, the intent with which the content is presented cannot be completely regarded as factual. A thought before sharing any piece of information is essential. Social platforms have been such kinds of platforms that have made the individuals as deformed as possible exhibit presence over the internet, no thanks to the deformed individuals providing the viewership and subscribers. As a result, these creators have acquired superficial recognition.
