Former Bollywood actor Krishan Kumar’s daughter, Tishaa, has passed away at the age of 21 due to cancer. Krishan Kumar, known for his roles in the 90s, notably in “Bewafa Sanam” (1995), where the song “Achha Sila Diya” became a superhit, faced a devastating loss as Tishaa succumbed to her prolonged battle with cancer on July 18. Tishaa had been undergoing treatment for a long time and was even taken to Germany in hopes of finding a cure. Despite these efforts, she passed away in a hospital. In a statement, a T-Series spokesperson said, “Tishaa Kumar, daughter of Krishan Kumar, passed away yesterday after a prolonged battle with an illness. It is a difficult time for the family, and we kindly request that their privacy be respected.”

Krishan Kumar, the co-owner of T-Series, India’s most prominent music production company, has deep roots in the entertainment industry. Krishan Kumar’s father, Chandrabhan, used to sell fruits and moved to Delhi after the partition of India. Krishan is the youngest brother of the late Gulshan Kumar, the founder of T-Series. Krishan Kumar is married to Tanya Singh, the daughter of music composer Ajit Singh. The family is now mourning the loss of Tishaa, and the news has sent ripples of sorrow through the Bollywood community and beyond. The request for privacy underscores the profound grief the family is experiencing during this challenging time.
