Congress Leader Sam Pitroda Slams EVMs, Says BJP May Reach 400 Seats
Congress leader Sam Pitroda has slammed the BJP in his recent remarks, where he raised several issues ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Pitroda, who is one of the key political advisors to Congress MP and leader Rahul Gandhi, has expressed his suspicions over EVM voting machines, stating that the BJP may even reach 400 Lok Sabha seats if the machines are manipulated. In a conversation with ANI, he said, “EVM needs to be fixed before the next election. If EVM is not fixed, 400 may be true. If EVM is fixed, 400 may not be true.”
He also revealed his communication concerns with the Election Commission, saying, “I waited for the Election Commission to respond, but when it didn’t happen, I decided to speak. It has nothing to do with the fact that elections in five states are over and the 2024 election is coming.” Congress leader Sam Pitroda also raised objections to the politicising of Ram Mandir by the BJP. He said that Ram Mandir should not be among the primary national issues and that one religion should not become dominant over the others.
