Congress Declines Ram Mandir Invitation, BJP Reacts

In a major political development, Congress has turned down Ram Mandir invitation for the grand inauguration of the holy temple in Ayodhya. The party’s official social media handle posted a message stating that while Congress leaders Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, and Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury had been extended an invitation for the ceremony, they would not be attending the event, which is due to take place on January 22. They called it a ‘BJP-RSS’ event and cited that to be the reason behind their disapproval of the Ram Mandir invitation.

BJP has promptly slammed their decision and called Congress anti-Hindu and anti-Bharat. Their national spokesperson, Sudhanshu Trivedi, noted in his recent press conference that Congress had boycotted the opening of the new Parliament building, as well as the Presidential addresses of former President Ram Nath Kovind and current President Droupadi Murmu. He further added that Congress had an opportunity to redeem itself by accepting the Ram Mandir invitation but has instead chosen to repeat its ‘past mistakes.’ The reopening of Ram Mandir will be attended by various distinguished personalities across Bharat and the world, including names like Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Virat Kohli, and Sachin Tendulkar.
