Celebrating the Oath Ceremony for Modi’s 3rd Term as the Prime Minister of India

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and 72 members of the new coalition administration took the oath of office today at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi.

The ceremony included 30 Cabinet Ministers, five Ministers with independent charge, and 36 Ministers of State. At 73, PM Modi took the oath for his third term, equaling the record of Jawaharlal Nehru. Around 8,000 guests attended the event, including celebrities, foreign dignitaries, and supporters. Notable attendees included actors Anupam Kher, Anil Kapoor, Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar, and Shah Rukh Khan, as well as filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani and actor Vikrant Massey. Former JNU student leader Shehla Rashid and corporate leaders like Gautam Adani, Mukesh Ambani, and Anand Piramal were also present.

Prominent personalities from the neighboring nations also attended, including Sheikh Hasina(PM of Bangladesh), Mohamed Muizzu(President of Maldives), and Ranil Wickremesinghe(President of Sri Lanka). President Droupadi Murmu administered the oath to PM Modi, who was greeted by her upon arrival. The meteorological office predicted a maximum temperature of 42 degrees Celsius in New Delhi, where the ceremony took place on the lawns of Rashtrapati Bhavan. Supporters of PM Modi waved flags, celebrating his third consecutive term as Prime Minister.
